Hi, I’m Carolyn!
I’m a chemist turned medical and scientific communicator who’s passionate about engaging audiences through accessible illustration, animation, and design. I work in a variety of media and emphasize storytelling and scientific accuracy through my work.
As an undergraduate student researcher, I developed a keen interest in science communication and began exploring visual media for doing so. After earning my bachelor’s in chemistry from the University of North Carolina, I began my journey toward becoming a medical and scientific illustrator at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
I’m currently wrapping up my thesis work in preparation for graduation May 2025.
