FocusED: E-Learning Module
About FocusED
FocusED is a conceptual e-learning module developed as part of a group project to explore how digital education tools could better support elementary school teachers in managing ADHD in the classroom. Created in response to a lack of accessible, evidence-based training on neurodiversity, the module imagines a flexible, interactive resource grounded in real-world classroom needs.
The course is informed by multimedia learning theory, cognitive flexibility, and minimalist design, and includes accessibility features such as customizable layouts, audio narration, and transcript support. FocusED was designed as a long-term, reusable web-based tool that educators could return to throughout their careers.
FocusED was created collaboratively by ticTAC Studios — a team including Carolyn Chen, Talia Mastalski, and Abigail Rumpp.

Module Wireframes
Shown here are final design elements from FocusED, including wireframes and interactive mockups that explore layout, user flow, and content structure. These prototypes were developed to visualize how an ADHD-focused e-learning module could look and function—from onboarding and navigation to interactive activities and knowledge checks.
Informal user testing with educators and peers helped ensure that the navigation, visual hierarchy, and content delivery felt intuitive and effective. Though conceptual, these designs reflect research-informed decisions grounded in accessibility, usability, and teacher-centered learning.
