DESCRIPTION

This poster was created in collaboration with the Animal Care and Rescue Center and the National Aquarium to raise awareness of reverse lanugo molt in abandoned grey seal pups. Using current research and clinical rehabilitation criteria, the piece visually contrasts normal and reverse lanugo molting patterns, body condition scoring, and thermoregulatory behaviors to help identify at-risk pups. The goal of this collaboration was to translate complex biological indicators into a clear, accessible visual tool to support early recognition, intervention, and public education in marine mammal rescue efforts.
